They had us at "Steakhouse & Brewpub." Hereford & Hops is definitely our favorite place to visit whenever we find ourselves passing through Escanaba, and you won't believe the incredible flavors of their award-winning handcrafted beers. The location is quite literally historic, on the first floor of a former hotel that was originally established in 1914. This is the kind of restaurant that was made for the do-it-yourselfer, with grill-your-own steaks, seafood, and chicken (you can also opt to have it professionally grilled if you're not the type to pick up the tongs yourself!). There are seven menu beers and three seasonals always on tap. Wonderful old world charm and ambiance!
